Best Hiking Trails in Phoenix, Arizona
White Tank Mountains
If you are looking for a stroll-like hike with a sweet Surprise at the end, check out the White Tank Mountains! There is a specific trail titled "Waterfall Trail" which has a visible waterfall (and it's only a one-mile hike!) Also, there are more than 200 covered picnic sites that include a table and charcoal grill, which is perfect for an afternoon picnic.
If you are looking for a challenging hike with a nice view of Phoenix, check out Camelback Mountain! There is a specific trail titled "Echo Canyon" which is only about 1.5 miles at 1200 feet. During December, there is a Christmas tree planted right on top of the mountain, which makes for a good photo opportunity!
If you are looking for beginner-friendly trails, check out Papago Park! The main attraction, however, is the "Hole In The Rock" which is an amazing spot for photos, sunset-viewing, and ultimate relaxation!
